The above graphic is a right triangle with sides labeled in terms of Angle A (NOT B).

ANY right triangle can be solved for ALL sides and angles if you just know
1) two sides OR 2) one angle and one side.

In the first case (2 sides), you can determine the 3rd side and ALL the angles by going to the following link: Pythagorean Theorem Calculator

In the second case (1 angle and 1 side), the known angle MUST be Angle A. If you only know Angle B, calculate Angle A by subtracting Angle B from 90 degrees .
